Southeast of city limits
As the Old Santa Fe Trail winds north, lovely, heavily-forested neighborhoods run alongside. Located in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristos, the lower elevations provide rolling hills of pinon and juniper while the higher elevation nestles in mountainous terrain. All have wonderful views of the Sandias and famous Santa Fe sunsets. Most lots start at 2.5 acres and some are over ten. The area includes Cloudstone, La Vista, Coyote Mountain Road, Mercer, Double Arrow Road, La Barberia, Overlook I and II, north and south of Old Santa Fe Trail from Camp Stoney cutoff.
Canada de los Alamos
At the end of the Old Santa Fe Trail lies a tiny village known as Canada de los Alamos. The homes here are tucked away in tall pondersa pines and gentle hills. This beautiful area is bordered by the Santa Fe National Forest on one side and Camp Stoney on the other. |
